Philip Knoll lives and works in the Berkshires and is accompanied by his wife and daughter.
He likes to draw, fish, cave explore and hang out with smart, funny people. But he spends most of his time loading and unloading the dishwasher.
He attended art school at the University of Texas at Austin. He got his master’s degree in painting from Virginia Commonwealth University.
His work has been acquired by The Rothschild Contemporary Drawing Collection at MOMA.
He has shown in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Great Barrington and Hamburg, Germany.
He has been in museum shows at the Palo Alto Museum of Art, the De Cordova Museum, the Danforth Museum, and some others I can’t remember right now.
